At the very heart of the Chivas Regal Blend lies the exceptional Strathisla Single Malt and a story of enduring brotherhood, craftsmanship and generosity of spirit.
A gentle reminder of these qualities of love and loyalty - two coupled hearts and a crown - is forged into the gates that welcome you to our distillery deep in the scottish highlands.
This is a tribute to the enduring commitment of our founding brothers, James and John Chivas, to craft the world's finest blended scotch whiskies.
Every drop of Chivas Regal 12 years old is expertly blended to create a superior whisky with luxurious notes of honey, hazelnut and butterscotch.

lochlomond_grain.jpg Note du distilleur
This outstanding single grain whisky is distilled exclusively from malted barley in our unique continuous still.
It is then carefully matured in the finest oak casks under the watchful eye of Micheal Henry, our master blender, to produce an elegant and full bodied single grain with the perfect harmony of flavour and aroma.
The result is a distinctive background character of soft fruits and creamy vanilla, making this single grain exceptionally easy to mix or perfect over ice.

Islay An Island at the very edge of Scotland. Where high cliffs drop into crashing surf and beautiful beaches thrill underfoot. This is Islay. Forged by nature, marked by history, made famous by its single malt whisky.

mcclellands_islay.jpg Note du distilleur
If the sight of this golden honeyed spirit invites you on a journey, then on the first breath your destination is revealed. It's Islay. A nose full of beachside fires and you are well on the way.
One sip, and you're there; the tang of the sea sweeps over you like the spray from an Atlantic roller.
All that salt, all that smoke, all that peat yet at no stage does the whisky overwhelm. It's hearty nature is nicely balanced by a hint of vanilla and, perhaps a little unexpectedly, a sharp slice of lemon. In the finish, sweet smoke and that unmistakeable iodine. A sparkling gem of a dram from Islay.
The distillery houses 4 distinct styles of still which can be combined to create a high quality range of whiskies. Exclusively made from malted barley in our smallest coffey still, this unique single grain has additional character and flavour.

The free flowing river Spey meanders its way from hill to coast, through some of Scotland's most picturesque scenery. But for whisky lovers, this beauty is merely a backdrop ; the real pleasure of the region comes from its whisky.

With its sparkling clear waters, fertile farmland and mild climate, Speyside is a spiritual home for whisky making. McClelland's Speyside Single Malt is a fine example of the region ; vibrant, floral and unforgettable. From the majestic heartland of Speyside comes the elegant single malt ; at once soft and complex, vibrant and rich. A wonderful contradiction.

mcclellands_speyside.jpg Note du distilleur
Rather like the Spey itself, glistening in the sunlight, the appearance of McClelland's Speyside Single Malt is a sight to behold. Honeyed and golden, the elegance of the dram comes shining through in the glass.
On the nose, mint and a memory of Scots pine, drifting across the valley floor on a vibrant cool breeze. Wait a little longer and something deeper, more mysterious forces its way through : dark chocolate.
Take a sip, roll the dram around your palate and the chocolate melts into sweet nougat and nutty nuances of Brazil and hazel. And there, all the while, floral top notes swinging and swaying like a wild summer meadow.

This recipe is an inspired recreation of an original bottling of Hankey Bannister Scotch Whisky, made between 1924 and 1928 and re-discovered, perfectly preserved. Our master blender has carefully recreated this antique liquid. This lost classic has a full, sweet flavour and a delicate hint of smoke. Undoubtedly a rare taste of history and a fine spirit of true character.
