Aberlour
Distillerie depuis 1879.
C'est sur les rives verdoyantes de la Lour et de la Spey que James Fleming installa sa distillerie en 1879. Leur eau pure est l'un des ingrédients essentiels des single malts aberlour. Également utilisée pour la production, elle est ensuite naturellement filtrée sur le site de la distillerie puis rendue purifiée à la nature.
Quant à l'orge, elle est récoltée dans un rayon de 24 km autour de la distillerie.

| Un Single Malt d'exception - Fidèle à la signature des single malts Aberlour, ce 12 ans est issu d'une double maturation en fûts de chêne ayant contenu du bourbon et du sherry, lui conférant ainsi le juste équilibre entre des saveurs fruitées et épicées. | |

| La robe est d'une belle couleur ambrée, aux légers reflets or rubis. | |
| Le nez est rond et doux, avec des notes de pommes rouges. | |
| Le palais est marqué par l'intensité du sherry, avec des arômes de cacao, de toffee et de cannelle. | |
| La finale est chaude et intense, aux notes sucrées, avec un légère pointe d'épices. |

| BenRiach, established in 1898 is one of the few distilleries with its own on-site floor maltings. Curiositas uses a heavily peated malted barley as the cereal varietal to produce a unique, fresh, peated expression. | |
| A rare peated single malt, from the Heartland of Speyside, Curiositas has wonderful overtones of peat reek, combined cleverly with a background of fruity, floral, beatbery notes and an appealing presence of oak wood in the finish. Traditionalists believe that peated malts achieve optimum balance of peat-bittersweet and oak infusion after 10 years of maturation. | |
| In fact peated BenRiach is a return to the original Speyside character and flavour of malts typical of the nineteenth century. Curiositas is a distinctive and welcome addition to the Speyside scene - this is a dram to be savoured with a dash of water. |

- Note : Un bon whisky 'étalon'. Très équilibré, un peu de tourbe/bruyère, très peu de salé, un peu de boisé. Beaucoup de rondeur, un peu de tout, pas un signature.
